Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (gebore op 12 April 1940) is 'n Amerikaanse pianis, komponis, en akteur. Hancock het sy loopbaan begin saam met Donald Byrd. Sy 2007 album getiteld River: The Joni Letters het die 2008 Grammy-toekenning vir die album van die jaar gewen, wat dit slegs die tweede jazz album gemaak het om die prys te wen, na Getz/Gilberto in 1965.
