Anne Schnoebelen (* 1933) ist eine US-amerikanische Musikwissenschaftlerin und -pädagogin.
Leben Schnoebelen besuchte das Rosary College (Bachelor 1958) und studierte Musikwissenschaft an der University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, wo sie 1960 den Mastergrad und 1968 den Doktorgrad erlangte. Ihre Dissertation hatte den Titel The Concerted Mass at San Petronio in Bologna ca. 1660–1730: A documentary and analytical study. Sie erhielt 1964 ein Fulbright-Stipendium, 1969 und 1983 Stipendien des National Endowment for the Humanities und 1984 ein Reisestipendium des American Council of Learned Societies.
1974 begann Schnoebelen als Gründungsmitglied der Shepherd School of Music an der Rice University zu unterrichten und bekleidete im Laufe der Jahre verschiedene Positionen. Unter anderem war sie Leiterin des Fachbereichs Musikwissenschaft und von 2002 bis 2003 die kommissarische Dekanin. 2004 wurde sie zum Mullen Professor Emerita of Musicology ernannt. Sie veröffentlichte Beiträge in Fachzeitschriften wie Acta Musicologica, The Musical Quarterly, Music and Letters, Music Library Association Notes, Journal of Musicological Research und Journal of Seventeenth-Century Music. Weiterhin gab sie Seventeenth-Century Italian Sacred Music in zwanzig Bänden heraus.
