Writing for Youlin Magazine, Muhammad Suhayb praised the chemistry and technical execution of Shaan and Sonya Hussyn's romantic storyline. However, he found the pairing of Javed Sheikh and Meera confusing due to plot inconsistencies regarding her character's background and motivations.
