Alex Wright ist ein Mathematiker.

Wright studierte an der University of Waterloo und promovierte 2014 bei Alex Eskin an der University of Chicago. Als Postdoktorand war er am MSRI, am Institute for Advanced Study und der Stanford University. Seit 2018 ist er an der University of Michigan, seit 2022 als Associate Professor und seit 2026 als Full Professor.Lebenslauf

Er arbeitet über dynamische Systeme auf Modulräumen.

Er war Clay Research Fellow, erhielt 2023 den Frontiers of Science Award und war 2026 Simons Fellow. Er ist Herausgeber von Conformal Geometry and Dynamics.
