Geothelphusa ist eine Gattung der Krabben-Familie Potamidae mit 58 rezenten Arten. Die Süßwasserkrabben kommen im Bereich der japanischen Ryūkyū-Inseln und auf Taiwan vor.
Merkmale Der Carapax ist oval und abgerundet, die Rückenfläche ist glatt oder leicht runzelig. Die epigastrischen und postorbitalen Kämme sind sehr niedrig oder fehlen. Der vordere Seitenrand ist stark konvex, der Epibranchialzahn ist klein oder fehlt ganz. Der Exopodit des dritten Maxillipeden trägt eine deutliche Geißel, die nicht den Merus überragt. Das Pleon ist dreieckig. Das erste Gonopodium ist lang und die Rinne für das zweite Gonopodium liegt bauchseitig. Das vorletzte Glied hat eine breite Basis und verschmälert sich allmählich. Das Endglied ist konisch und gerade, einwärts, auswärts oder nach oben gebogen. Es ist deutlich kürzer als ein Drittel der Länge des vorletzten Glieds. Die Synovialmembran zwischen beiden Gliedern ist deutlich. Das Endsegment des zweiten Gonopodiums ist kürzer als das halbe Basalglied.
