] Kara Wakou (auch: Karwoko, Koirawakou) ist ein Weiler in der Stadtgemeinde Tillabéri in Niger.
Geographie Der Weiler befindet sich etwa 18 Kilometer östlich des Stadtzentrums von Tillabéri, der Hauptstadt des gleichnamigen Departements Tillabéri und der gleichnamigen Region Tillabéri. Zu den ländlichen Siedlungen in der Umgebung von Kara Wakou zählen Ména im Nordwesten, Tringa im Nordosten, Hainkakandé im Südosten und Gida im Westen.
Kara Wakou ist Teil der Übergangszone zwischen Sahel und Sudan. Die durchschnittliche jährliche Niederschlagsmenge beträgt hier zwischen 400 und 500 mm.
Bevölkerung Bei der Volkszählung 2012 hatte Kara Wakou 243 Einwohner, die in 35 Haushalten lebten. Bei der Volkszählung 2001 betrug die Einwohnerzahl 187 in 24 Haushalten.
Wirtschaft und Infrastruktur Es gibt eine Schule in der Siedlung.
