We had been surveying the southern side of the island of Tongatapu, looking along the coastal cliffs for evidence of past tsunamis” Srah Kuta: A 164-Foot Tsunami Pushed This Enormous Boulder Atop a Cliff in Tonga 7,000 Years Ago. smithsonianmag.com 29. Discovery of the world’s largest cliff-top boulder: Initial insights and numerical simulation of its transport on a 30–40 m high cliff on Tongatapu (Tonga). doi.org Ein Tsunami hat den Felsblock dorthin gespült. Eric Ralls: Scientists find a boulder weighing 2,645,547 pounds that was washed inland by an enormous tsunami. earth.com 06-02-2025.
