Geoffrey Alan Parker, genannt Geoff Parker (* 24.
A. Parker,R. R. Baker, V. G. F. Smith, The origin and evolution of gamete dimorphism and the male-female phenomenon, Journal of Theoretical Biology, Band 36, 1972, S. 529–553 eine evolutionäre Theorie der Anisogamie (unterschiedliche Größe der Gameten beider Geschlechter wie Spermie und Eizelle beim Menschen). Er entwickelte evolutionäre Theorien für sexuelle KonflikteSexual selection and sexual conflict, in M. S. Blum, N. A. Blum (Hrsg.), Sexual selection and reproductive competition in insects, Academic Press 1979, S. 123–166, die Evolution von KampfverhaltenParker, Assessment strategy and the evolution of fighting behaviour, Journal of Theoretical Biology, Band 47, 1974, S. 223–243, asymmetrische WettkämpfeJ. M.Smith,G.A. Parker, The logic of asymmetric contests, Animal Behaviour, Band 24, 1976, S. 159–175, Bestrafung in TierpopulationenT. H. Clutton-Brock, G. A. Parker, Punishment in animal societies, Nature, Band 373, 1995, S. 209–216 und anderes.
