Actias australovietnama is een vlinder van de familie van de nachtpauwogen (Saturniidae), onderfamilie Saturniinae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd door Ronald Brechlin in 2000., 2000: Eine neue Art der Gattung Actias Leach, 1815 aus Südvietnam: Actias australovietnama n. sp.
