Ten After Ten is a 1924 American silent adventure film credited to Harry O. Hoyt and starring Charles Hutchison and Anna Luther, billed as Anne Luther. Released as a five-reel feature by Clarion Photoplays and Artclass Pictures, it was assembled from footage originally filmed for The Great Gamble, a 1919 serial directed by Joseph A. Golden.

Plot A gang of criminals frames the businessman Stanton for the murder of his partner. Stanton claims that he met a young woman at the time of the killing, ten minutes after ten, but she initially cannot remember the encounter and is unable to confirm his alibi. He escapes from his guards and attempts to establish his innocence.

The woman eventually remembers meeting Stanton. As the two become involved in a succession of adventures, he rescues her from a crocodile-infested swamp. The actual murderers are arrested, and Stanton and the woman begin a romance.

Production and release The footage used in Ten After Ten was originally produced for The Great Gamble, a fifteen-episode serial written, directed and produced by Golden and released by Pathé Exchange in 1919. Hutchison and Luther played the leading roles, although Hutchison's character in the serial was named Ralph Darrell.

In May 1924, Clarion Photoplays advertised Ten After Ten as the first in a series of five features starring Hutchison. The remaining titles were The Law Demands, The Fatal Plunge, The Radio Flyer and Fangs of the Wolf. Offered to distributors in open state-rights territories, the series was described as having been revised from The Great Gamble and Golden's earlier serial Wolves of Kultur.

An exhibitor who subsequently showed Ten After Ten identified it specifically as having been made from The Great Gamble. All five features were listed among Hoyt's 1924 directorial credits in The Film Daily Film Year Book 1927. The precise nature of Hoyt's work on the compilation is not documented; Golden had directed the underlying serial footage.

Clarion advertised the film as ready for distribution by May 13, 1924, but no exact American release date has been established. It was released in the United Kingdom on September 3, 1925, after being reviewed in the April 30 issue of Kinematograph Weekly.

Reception W. D. Patrick of the Strand Theatre in Florala, Alabama, described Ten After Ten as a good picture and reported that it drew good business. H. E. Patrick of the Strand Theatre in Samson, Alabama, considered it above average for an ordinary program feature. He reported that the theater was filled on the second night and that the film pleased its audience.
