Sukanya Verma of Rediff.com gave 3.5 stars out of 5 and writes that "Babita Singh Reporting goes past the messy homes and humming markets to reflect the daredevilry of a protagonist coming into her own."

Tanisha Bhattacharya of NDTV rated it 3.5/5 stars and said that " What is impressive about Barun Sobti is that, main character or not, his commitment to the craft shows and glows in his limited screen time".
Anuj Kumar of The Hindu writes that "Director Ambiecka Pandit mounts a small-town murder mystery which functions far more effectively as a breakdown of hypocrisy than as an unconventional procedural." Sometimes the control is hidden inside jokes, taunts, financial expectations and the assumption that a woman will always adjust."
