First qualifying round
The draw for the first qualifying round was made on 3 July 2026, with fixtures being played on the weekend of Saturday 15 August. 380 clubs (195 from Level 9, and 185 from Level 10) were to play 190 matches, but only 189 were played; the match between Squires Gate and Boro Rangers was awarded to Squires Gate as a walkover after Boro Rangers withdrew from the Northern League in June 2026, and so were no longer eligible to play in the FA Vase.
