"Summer Uptown" was a song by American internet personality and streamer JasonTheWeen, featuring American singer-songwriter D4vd. It was self-released under the alias-label "Weenie Records" on July 9, 2025 as a single. The collaboration between the two happened when Nguyen invited Burke onto his Twitch live stream on July 2, 2025, after brief conversations and collaborations between the two beforehand. In May 2026, the song was quietly removed from streaming services after Burke was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the case of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Background and release Nguyen and Burke first interacted in September 2024, but didn't officially start collaborating until April 2025. Nguyen appeared at Burke's Coachella concert, and later made a cameo appearance in the "What Are You Waiting For?" music video, alongside Pokimane. Nguyen invited Burke to a stream at the FaZe house in July 2025, which Burke accepted.

Recording Nguyen and Burke recorded the song in one day, all on live stream. Most of the song is improvisation, with very little of the song being written out. Nguyen and Burke talk about love and summer adventures over an indie rock/bedroom pop beat, produced by Peril.

Removal from streaming services On September 8, 2025, the remains of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez were found in a Tesla Model X that was registered to D4vd in Los Angeles, California. When the news first came out, Nguyen was confronted by viewers of his Twitch chat, asking his thoughts. Nguyen initially defended Burke, and stated that he thought that Burke may have been set-up. Nguyen faced backlash for these comments, and later retracted his statements in a later live stream, stating that Burke was "not his friend" despite the collaboration and that he did not condone his actions.

After Burke was arrested and officially charged with first-degree murder in April 2026, Nguyen took the song down from all streaming services quietly in May 2026.
