Taking a break from her missions and unsettled by a sudden encounter with an excessive and intriguing young man, she uses this stopover to question her wandering life and reassess her dark agreements.

Critical response For That Shelf, Courtney Small wrote that "as with several of Côté’s films, one’s mileage with Nobody’s Violence will depend on how willing you are to embrace its wild shift in directions. However, those open to letting him fully take the wheel will be in for a thrilling ride. A slow burn thriller that takes on a dreamlike feel, Nobody’s Violence finds invigorating life in freeing oneself from the grips of death."Courtney Small, "Nobody’s Violence Review: TIFF 2026".
