Hans-Thomas Tillschneider (born 5 February 1978) is a Romanian-born German politician serving as the First Vice President of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt since 2016.
Political Career Tillschneider joined Alternative for Germany in 2013, before that he was a member of the Free Democratic Party in 1996.
On 13 February 2020, it was revealed that Tillschneider—along with Björn Höcke and Andreas Kalbitz—has been under surveillance by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution since the beginning of the year.
On 6 October 2026, Tillschneider was elected as one of the Vice-Presidents of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt, serving with Carsten Borchert.
Personal Life Tillschneider is of Banat Swabian heritage.
