Alliance Films regarding to its merger, the company led by Lantos, inked a deal with them in order to produce and distribute their films. Alliance Films was revived in 2007, but acquired, closed down, and folded into Entertainment One (now Lionsgate Canada). Hasbro bought Entertainment One for 2019 but eventually along with only its non-family assets, eOne was sold to Lionsgate due to it less prior to Hasbro's goals image but retained its eOne Family division which included Peppa Pig as their golden goose and eOne's 70% stake of its production company Astley Baker Davies, for of which the sale also included some of the assets from Serendipity distributed by Alliance Atlantis.
Predating Alliance and Serendipity In 1986, Jennifer Dale, a Canadian actress separated from Robert Lantos, and it was not confirmed that Lantos had any allegations, but rather it was his intense life driven among filmmaking and his outspoken public persona were recognized as overarching pressures following issues.
Before he reached great levels in producing films at Alliance and Vivafilm, Lantos was still working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation at his interview with Peter Gentile during CBC's Life and Times where he was praised about him being the next and second generalist between journals and the entertainment industry, however, it was a misconception to the praise as Robert was never into that.

He noted, "We could have used double that, given the complexity of this film. If it were being made by a Hollywood studio, [the budget] would have been $50 million."
He also viewed the same perspective as he noted, "We tried to do this without making any artistic compromises; to keep the film of the highest quality every step of the way."

Rise of the Raven
On July 16, 2021, Serendipity partnered with German company Beta Film to produce ten episodes of Rise Of The Raven, an Austrian-Hungarian biblical historical drama based on Hunyadi books.
It was worth noting that Lantos, kept an eye on dealing with European-styled films, but it was required to be localized. He clearly noted that he wanted to avoid a strike from Hollywood and kept everything assisted during Rise Of The Raven which originated on TV2.
The show eventually premiered in Canada on CBC. It was internationally distributed by Serendipity, through its dedicated international distribution division Serendipity Point Films International Distribution.
Predating the future of Hungarian cinema Hungary's regulatory state-owned National Film Institute partnered with Serendipity to expand in order to meet the deadlines of newer international film and television producers to shoot in their nation. Robert Lantos, who was born in Hungary, candidated in culmination of subsidized taxes, but realistically, during the edge period, total studios increased many soundstages up to 2,500sqm in less than internally was announced to be built in increasing total studio capacity to 12,670sqm.
At often, Hollywood productions normally were shot in key play for Hungary, but notable Hollywood productions outside of Hungary normally collect incentive taxes to file while Hungary serves as a cost-efficient "runaway production" model, but Toronto's North Hollywood-first space was thanks to Serendipity at that time with the Lantos family.
NFI head agent Ildikó Kovács discussed the keys of Hungary's large expansion while Serendipity still had shot the television drama Rise of the Raven. "The expansion is allowing NFI Studios to attract and host large-scale productions while still providing world-class facilities for high-end TV and film projects. Lantos was still with Beta Film in co-production, he formally recalled, "I have been an eyewitness to the massive expansion, development and modernisation of the studio, I hope to have the opportunity to work here yet again."
Miscellaneous Ventures In 2026, Serendipity launched an unnamed Macau-based venture for the world premiere of Hong Kong-filmed Girlfriends. Hiring and layoffs In 2005, Julia Rosenberg left Serendipity to produce films independently and set up her privately-owned production company January Films. The reasons are not exactly known but Rosenberg was practicing for another budget for a newer unrelated film and that she would no longer be working with Lantos at Serendipity.
Canadian film distribution and releasing executive Charlotte Mickie who once was a president of a film distributor called DreaMachine, left there to ink a job at Serendipity with Lantos hiring her as a new executive that day starting from 2007 and around to 2008.
In 2012, Serendipity promoted Mark Musselman to be one of the executives to be in the studio, not to be confused with Mary Musselman (Mary Whitmer).
