Streptomyces leeuwenhoekii is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from hyper-arid desert soil from Salar de Atacama in Chile.Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen Streptomyces leeuwenhoekii produces chaxalactins and chaxamycins.
