Kingswood and Hazel Leys

The Kingswood and Hazel Leys by-election was triggered by the disqualification for non-attendance of Kenneth Carratt, who had been elected as a Labour councillor in 2015.

Beanfield

The Beanfield by-election was triggered by the death of Labour councillor Mary Butcher.

Weldon and Gretton

The by-election was held on the same day as the 2019 United Kingdom general election. Gretton Parish Council had recorded in September 2019 that Conservative councillor Robert McKellar had considered resigning, but had initially withdrawn his resignation because it would trigger a by-election.
