Dysomma dolichosomatum is an eel in the family Synaphobranchidae (cutthroat eels).Dysomma dolichosomatum at www.fishbase.org. It was described by Christine Karrer in 1983.Karrer, C., 1983 [ref. 5679] Anguilliformes du Canal de Mozambique (Pisces, Teleostei). Faune Tropicale v. 23 (for 1982): 1-116. It is a tropical, marine eel which is known from the Indo-Pacific. It dwells at a depth range of 550–555 metres.
