The countries or economic blocs are sorted by their household final consumption expenditure (HFCE), which represents consumer spending. Values are in nominal terms in U.S. dollars, then adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP) in constant 2021 international dollars in nominal terms. A larger percentage of GDP cited below (especially larger than the entire economy, i.e., exceeding 100%) typically indicates the existence of an informal economy, at least in terms of income.
