Calvadosia corbini is a stalked jellyfish species in the family Kishinouyeidae from the tropical western Atlantic.A New Stauromedusa, Kishinouyea Corbini (Scyphozoa, Stauromedusae) from the Tropical Western Atlantic. Larson, Ronald J., Bulletin of Marine Science, Volume 30, Number 1, January 1980, pp. 102-107(6) The species is named after Peter Corbin, a marine biologist noted for his extensive work on Atlantic Stauromedusae.
