Chlum is a municipality and village in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.
Chlum lies approximately north of Strakonice, north-west of České Budějovice, and south-west of Prague.
Etymology Chlum is a common Czech toponym. The word chlum meant 'hill' in old Czech.
