The Big Iron River is a U.S. Geological Survey. National Hydrography Dataset high-resolution flowline data. The National Map , accessed February 3, 2012 river in western Ontonagon County on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the United States. It flows northwards, entering Lake Superior at the village of Silver City.
