Más fuerte que la vida (English: Stronger Than Life) is the 16th studio album by Mexican pop singer Yuri. It was released on October 29, 1996, through Sony Music Distribution under the Columbia Records imprint. The project represented a significant milestone and stylistic pivot in the singer's career, marking her first full-length venture into the traditional Ranchera and mariachi genres following her public conversion to Christianity.

The album was produced by acclaimed mariachi director Pepe Martínez and primarily consists of newly arranged, traditional folk-style reinterpretations of her signature signature Latin pop hits from the 1980s and early 1990s, including "Maldita primavera," "Yo te pido amor," and "Detrás de mi ventana." The title track, "Más fuerte que la vida," stands out as the album's sole original studio entry, functioning as a personal testimony track reflecting her faith. Driven by regional radio distribution across Mexico, the collection achieved commercial success and eventually earned a Platinum certification for shipments exceeding its sales thresholds. The project served as Yuri's final collaborative studio delivery for Sony Music before she entered an extended hiatus from the commercial pop charts to focus on gospel music ministry.

History & Promotion This is the first Ranchero album she had released. This is a collection of her past hits in a new Ranchera version and she was declared the Queen of the World Rancheras Festival. This album didn't receive proper promotion from Sony due to the "new & religious vision" of the singer. The sales were bad and the label decided to finish her contract.
