Ricinelaidic acid or (+)-(R)-ricinelaidic acid is an organic compound with the formula . It is an unsaturated omega-9 trans fatty acid. It is prepared by isomerization of the cis isomer, ricinoleic acid, which is a major constituent of castor oil.
