La Grande-Paroisse (, literally The Great Parish) is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. The chemical company Grande Paroisse took its name from this commune, where its first factory was established.
Population
Inhabitants are called Grands-Paroissiens in French.
