Paul Jostein Lereim (* 15. September 1938; † 25. August 2026) war ein norwegischer Orthopäde und Professor für Orthopädie an der Universität Oslo.
Leben
Paul Lereim stammt aus einer Pastorenfamilie. Er studierte Medizin in Innsbruck und Kiel und war danach der letzte Direktor des orthopädische Spezialkrankenhauses Sophies Minde in Oslo. Paul Lereim war einer der chirurgisch-orthopädischen Pioniere in Norwegen und bekannt für schwierigste Knie- und Hüftgelenksersatz-Operationen.
Er war Nationalmannschaftsarzt der norwegischen Eishockey-Mannschaft bei sechs Olympischen Spielen und Leiter der Anti-Doping-Arbeit bei mehreren Eishockey-Weltmeisterschaften.
Im Jahr 2014 wurde Lereim mit Kongens fortjenstmedalje, der Königlichen Verdienstmedaille Norwegens, ausgezeichnet.
