Giovanni Dosi (* 25. Leben und Wirken Giovanni Dosi studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaft an der Universität Mailand und legte dort 1976 seine Abschlussprüfung („Laurea“) ab. Von 1977 bis 1978 hielt er sich zu Studienzwecken an der ISTAO in Ancona auf, einer dortigen Wirtschaftshochschule. Von 1980 bis 1983 forschte er an der University of Sussex and promovierte hier 1983 zum DPhil. Es folgten Forschungsaufenthalte und Gastdozenturen an Universitäten in den USA, Frankreich, Großbritannien u. a. Von 1987 bis 1998 lehrte er an der Universität Rom („La Sapienza“). Seit 1998 ist er Professor an der Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa.https://www.santannapisa.it/en/giovanni-dosi An der University of Sussex hat er seit 1993 eine Honorarforschungsprofessur inne. Dosi arbeitet vor allem über Industrieökonomik und technologischen Wandel.
