Merkmale Cosmocercidae sind Cosmocercoidea, die ovipar sind oder die Larven in einem frühen Entwicklungsstadium (Larve 1) abgeben. Sie haben paarige weibliche Geschlechtsorgane (didelphisch). Die Engstelle des Ösophagus (Isthmus) ist länglich. Männchen haben keinen Saugnapf vor dem Anus.Alain G.
