Marie-Claude Durette-Desset: Keys to Genera of the Super-Family Trichostrongyloidea. In: R. C. Anderson und A. G. Chabaud (Hrsg.): CIH Keys to the Nematode Parasites of Vertebrates, No. 10. Commonwealth Agricultural Bureau, Farnham Royal 1983.
Mike Hodda: Phylum Nematoda: a classification, catalogue and index of valid genera, with a census of valid species. In: Zootaxa. 2022, Band 5114, Nummer 1, S. 1–289. doi:10.11646/zootaxa.5114.1.1. P. Hoberg, S. Lloyd, H. Omar: Libyostrongylus dentatus n. sp. (Nematoda: Trichostrongylidae) from ostriches in North America, with comments on the genera Libyostrongylus and Paralibyostrongylus. In: The Journal of parasitology. Band 81, Nummer 1, Februar 1995, S. 85–93, PMID 7876985. Hodda weist fünf Arten aus, Hobert folgende acht Arten: Paralibyostrongylus alberti (, 1943) Paralibyostrongylus bathyergi , 1939 Paralibyostrongylus cassonei , 1978 Paralibyostrongylus hebrenicutus (, 1923) Paralibyostrongylus kalinae , 1992 Paralibyostrongylus mordanti , 1959 Paralibyostrongylus nigeriae (, 1928) Paralibyostrongylus vondwei , 1939
