William F. DeGrado (* 12. September 1955 in Exeter (Kalifornien))Geburtsdaten American Men and Women of Science, Thomson Gale 2005 ist ein US-amerikanischer Chemiker (Peptidchemie, bioorganische Chemie, pharmazeutische Chemie).
F. DeGrado, L. H. Pinto, R. A. Lamb u. a.: A functionally defined model for the M2 proton channel of influenza A virus suggests a mechanism for its ion selectivity, Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci. 1989 erhielt er den Protein Society Young Investigator Award, 1992 den Eli Lilly Award in Biological Chemistry, 2003 den R. Bruce Merrifield Award, 2008 den Ralph F. Hirschmann Award in Peptide Chemistry und 2017 den Murray Goodman Memorial Prize der Zeitschrift Biopolymers. 1995 wurde er Fellow der American Association for the Advancement of Science, 1998 Mitglied der American Academy of Arts and Sciences und 1999 der National Academy of Sciences.
