Alexandros Makriyannis (* 9. September 1939) ist ein Professor für Chemie und chemische Biologie an der Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Biotechnologie-Startups Makriyannis gründete zwei Biotechnologie-Startups in Burlington, MA mit dem Ziel, neue und innovative Medikamente gegen Krankheiten auf den Markt zu bringen, die durch das Endocannabinoid-System beeinflusst werden können.
