Bis 1971 platzierten sich insgesamt 24 Lieder Thomas’ in amerikanischen Hitlisten, darunter I’ll Bring It on Home to You (eine Antwort auf Sam Cookes Bring It on Home to Me), Let Me Be Good to You und B-A-B-Y (von Isaac Hayes).
