Nordkorea nahm an den Olympischen Sommerspielen 1980 in Moskau mit einer Delegation von 47 Athleten (39 Männer und 8 Frauen) an 40 Wettkämpfen in acht Sportarten teil.
Die nordkoreanischen Athleten gewannen drei Silber- und zwei Bronzemedaillen.
