Ranjbar, A. Karami, S. Farshad, G. M. Giammanco, C. Mammina: Typing methods used in the molecular epidemiology of microbial pathogens: a how-to guide. In: The new microbiologica. Band 37, Nummer 1, Januar 2014, S. 1–15, . Field, T. Band 14, Nummer 4, April 2014, S. 341–352, . . PMID 24631223. Fehlerquellen der molekularen Epidemiologie sind z. B. eine unvollständige Datenerfassung.M. Desai, J. Kubo, D. Esserman, M. B. Terry: The handling of missing data in molecular epidemiology studies. In: Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention. Band 20, Nummer 8, August 2011, S. 1571–1579, . . PMID 21750174.
