mini|David Catlin, Oberwolfach 2004 David William Catlin (* 12.
Catlin wurde 1978 an der Princeton University bei Joseph Kohn promoviert (Boundary Behavior of Holomorphic Functions on Weakly Pseudoconvex Domains).Veröffentlicht in: Journal of Differential Geometry.
Makhlouf Derridj: La sous-ellipticité pour le problème -Neumann dans un domaine pseudoconvexe de d’après D. Er war Invited Speaker auf dem Internationalen Mathematikerkongress 1986 in Berkeley (Regularity of solutions of the -Neumann problemDavid Catlin: Regularity of solutions of the -Neumann problem. In: Proceedings of the International Congress of Mathematicians. Bd. 1, Nr. 2 (Berkeley, 1986), 1987, S. 708–714.). 1989 erhielt er den ersten Bergman Preis.
Sein Bruder Paul Allen Catlin ist ebenfalls Mathematiker.
