Bedotia marojejy is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de bedotia's (Bedotiidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2000 door Melanie L.J. Stiassny en Ian J. Harrison. "Notes on a small collection of fishes from the Parc National de Marojejy, Northeastern Madagascar, with a description of a new species of the endemic genus Bedotia." in Fieldiana:Zoology new series no. 97 (2000), blz. 143-156
De soort is endemisch in Madagaskar en werd aangetroffen in het Nationaal park Marojejy.
