Pseudobunaea cyrene is een vlinder uit de familie nachtpauwogen (Saturniidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is, als Bunaea cyrene, voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1909 door Gustav Weymer., 1909: Exotische Lepidopteren.
