Robert Zigler Leonard (Chicago, 7 oktober 1889 – Beverly Hills, 27 augustus 1968) was een Amerikaans filmregisseur.
Levensloop Zijn films The Divorcee (1930) en The Great Ziegfeld (1936) werden allebei genomineerd voor de Oscar voor Beste Regie. Enkel de laatstgenoemde film won de prijs. Van 1918 tot 1925 was hij gehuwd met filmster Mae Murray. Samen met haar richtte hij de filmstudio Tiffany Pictures op. Met die studio draaiden ze acht lange speelfilms voor MGM. Vanaf 1926 tot aan zijn dood in 1968 was hij getrouwd met actrice Gertrude Olmstead.
