Araeolampas atlantica is een zee-egel uit de familie Loveniidae.
De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd, samen met die van het geslacht Araeolampas, in 1974 gepubliceerd door D. Keith Serafy. (1974). A new Heart-Urchin, Araeolampas atlantica, new genus, new species, from the North Atlantic and notes on the closely related Homolampas. Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington 87(6): 41-48. Gearchiveerd op 22 februari 2017. De soort komt voor in de noordelijke Atlantische Oceaan.
