Lauromacromia picinguaba is een libel uit de familie Lauromacromiidae, onderorde echte libellen (Anisoptera). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Alcimar do Lago Carvalho, Luiz Gustavo Vargas Salgado & Pedro Costa Werneck-De-Carvalho in een publicatie uit 2004., & , 2004, Description of a new species of Lauromacromia Geijskes, 1970 (Odonata: Corduliidae) from Southeastern Brazil. De soort komt voor op twee locaties in de deelstaat São Paulo, Brazilië.
