Erythrodiplax attenuata is een libellensoort uit de familie van de korenbouten (Libellulidae), onderorde Anisoptera (echte libellen). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Trithemis? attenuata door William Forsell Kirby in een publicatie uit 1889. 1889. De soort komt voor in Colombia, Brazilië (Roraima, Pará, Bahia, São Paulo), Ecuador en Peru.
