Bollmannia is een geslacht van straalvinnige vissen uit de familie van grondels (Gobiidae). Ze werd in 1890 beschreven door Jordan & Bollman samen met de soort Bollmannia chlamydes. De naam is een hommage aan Charles H. Bollman (1868–1889), die overleed kort voor de publicatie van deze beschrijving., "Description of New Species of Fishes Collected at the Galapagos Islands and along the Coast of the United States of Colomba, 1887-'88."
