Voorbeelden van animatiefilms van Miyazaki gecomponeerd door Hisaishi zijn: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle en Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea.
