Japanobotrychium is een geslacht van varens uit de addertongfamilie (Ophioglossaceae), dat ook wel als ondergeslacht van Botrychium beschouwd wordt.
Het zijn zeldzame varens uit Azië en Afrika.

Taxonomie Japanobotrychium wordt door sommige auteurs beschouwd als behorende tot het grotere geslacht Botrychium.
