Utetheisa pulchelloides is een vlinder van de familie van de spinneruilen (Erebidae), onderfamilie van de beervlinders (Arctiinae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door George Francis Hampson in een publicatie uit 1907. De spanwijdte is ongeveer 3 centimeter.

Waardplanten De rups leeft op planten van de familie Boraginaceae waaronder Argusia argentea, Echium plantagineum, Heliotropium arboreum. Heliotropium foertherianum, akkervergeet-mij-nietje (Myosotis arvensis), Tournefortia argentea en Trichodesma zeylanicum. De rups wordt tot 3 centimeter lang.
