"Order Dasyuromorphia". In Wilson, D.E.; Reeder, D.M (eds.) Mammal Species of the World: A Taxonomic and Geographic Reference (3rd ed.). Johns Hopkins University Press. p. 24. .

Newman-Martin, J., Travouillon, K.J., Warburton, N., Barham, M. and Blyth, A.J. 2023. Taxonomic review of the genus Dasycercus (Dasyuromorphia: Dasyuridae) using modern and subfossil material; and the description of three new species. A Tale of Two Tails: Untangling the Phylogeography and Demographic History of Extant Species of Mulgara (Dasycercus spp.) in the Australian Arid Zone. Journal of biogeography, 52(10), e70006.
