De IndyCar Series 2021 was het 26e kampioenschap van de IndyCar Series. Scott Dixon was de regerend kampioen bij de coureurs. De 105e Indianapolis 500 werd gehouden op 30 mei en werd gewonnen door Hélio Castroneves, die in 2001, 2002 en 2009 de race al won.
Het kampioenschap werd gewonnen door Chip Ganassi Racing-coureur Álex Palou, die zijn eerste titel behaalde. Josef Newgarden werd voor Team Penske voor het tweede achtereenvolgende jaar tweede, terwijl Arrow McLaren SP-rijder Patricio O'Ward als derde eindigde.
