Euptychia alacristata is een vlinder uit de familie Nymphalidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2014 door Andrew F. E. Neild, Shinichi Nakahara & Steven A. Fratello., 2014: A new species of Euptychia Hübner, 1818 (Nymphalidae: Satyrinae: Satyrini) from the Amazon Basin and the Guianas.
