Radionerva collecta is een vlinder uit de familie tastermotten (Gelechiidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1921 door Edward Meyrick als Apatetris collecta. Antonius Johannes Theodorus Janse verzamelde ze in Rhodesië (tegenwoordig Zimbabwe). "Descriptions of South African Micro-Lepidoptera. Part 1." Transactions of the Transvaal Museum (1921), vol. 8 nr. 2, blz. 49-144.
Janse duidde deze soort in 1951 aan als typesoort van het nieuwe geslacht Radionerva. "Family- & Genus-Group Names of Gelechiidae, Holcopogonidae, Lecithoceridae and Symmocidae (Lepidoptera)." Bulletin of the British Museum (Natural History): Entomology, vol. XXVIII (1974), blz. 245
De soort komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
